After a long wait my shipping company – Posten Norge – in collaboration with other postal services here in Europe have landed on a solution to deal with the tariffs imposed from US. More importantly – how to gather said tariff before the shipment enters US.

It is not all sorted, and I have spent many hours both online and on the phone trying to figure out what that means for my small corner of the web. How much do I have to charge in order to cover the cost of all that. Because -Posten Norge- want something for the trouble of collecting the US tariff of course.

I think I have it figured out now, and have created a shipping profile on Etsy for US on necklaces. Now I just need to add new profiles for other items as well.

I will be honest here. It is with a little trepidation I do this. What if I did not understand it all correctly? But I have to try, right?
